Bettie: Off to the printer!

After a minor delay with the cover art, "Hollywood Blackjack" has been sent off to the printer and is on schedule for an August release. In fact, I just heard from the printer than it will be shipped from them on August 10th, so we'll have the books within a week of that ship date (freight is so slow).

Without even advertising, pre-sales are going crazy, and Amazon keeps trying to order, even though I told them the book wouldn't be available until August. A sure sign of good things to come, I hope!

I just sent the proof (mock-up) of the book back to the printer and it goes to print on Monday, so we are still on target for mid-August availability. It looks great and I'm really excited. We're also working on arranging for Dave to be here when the books come in to sign all pre-orders as an extra thank-you to everyone who ordered early.
