The Prince: Good times to play.
Forgive my being newer to the game, and not as knowledgable as many here. Many of the most desirable games in the country are dealt face down, (lots of the S17, DAS, LS double deck games for example) which is a major hindrance to the card counter, unless he plays heads-up with the dealer. Is there any good "rule of thumb" time of day (or night!) to be able to walk in and play alone with the dealer, and so take full advantage of these games?

My experience has been that the graveyard shift (4 am to noon) is an excellent time to find a heads up game. However, you will also find yourself heads up against a floor supervisor as well if you aren't careful. Make sure you can play without tipping off you are a counter. :-)
Just my 2 cents.
