NYCfudu: ultimate basic strategy cards
Have you guys designed these already?
What would be helpful is if you guys included index numbers on the squares as well.

They've just returned from the printer, and Viktor tells me they look great.

1) Then, they'd be a lot more than BS cards, right?
2) Which index numbers would they be? Obviously, we'd have to commit to a single count, probably Hi-Lo. Then, everyone else is unhappy.
3) Finally, you'd never be able to use them at the table in a casino.

I can see it now ...
PC -"Hey, where did you get those cool BS cards; our gift shop?"
Card Counter in Training -"Nope, at 'AdvantagePlayer.com.' You should check it out!"
PC -"Get the hook!"

Probably Hi-Lo.
I would not use them in a casino, maybe have them for reference on a trip. Would be easier to have a look at the cards rather than turn to the correct page in a book. Keep them in the car for reference or if some plays differnet types of games, like s17 shoes to H17 DDs and SDs.
Do you guys have all these rules?
S17DSLS for 6 deck
H17DSLS for 6 deck
S17DS for 2 deck
H17DS for 2 deck
H17 for 2 deck
H17 for SD

Interesting idea, but I still think the audience is limited to Hi-Lo players. Now, different cards for every popular count -- that's an intriguing idea. :-)

Sure. 12 cards in all. SD, DD, multi-deck (with exceptions noted if 6-deck differs from 8-deck, which is very rare); S17 and H17 for all three; and DAS, NDAS for all three. Surrender indicated, where applicable, on all 12 cards, along with all composition-dependent plays and e.v.s for all scenarios, with and without surrender.

That's funny, because I actually stop the game frequently and whip out my BS CARD as camo.
But, here is the kicker.
Do you know how many times over the years I have had a pit person say to me, can I see that for a minute?
If would be an interesting experience if he/she did that and there was other info on it.
My favorite thing is when I forget my camo card (as I call it) and I stop the game in the middle of a soft double or less obvious split and ask the pit crew the following.
"Do you have one of those cards, I just don't recollect what the play is here?"
I have had many of them take them right out and tell me. lol.

ES: Re: ultimate basic strategy cards
I would buy a set with Hi-Lo index numbers, for reference outside the casino. I was once told by someone at GBC not to use similar folding cards with basic strategy decisions in a casino because security may accuse a player of hiding playing cards in the folding reference card.

Viktor Nacht: Easy to Separate
For the the record, the new cards can be easily separated into individual charts if this is an issue with the casinos you play at. We've been testing these for almost a week now, so far there have been no problems, except for people passing them around to look at them and not giving them back!
Good Cards,

jp: Re: ultimate basic strategy cards
I made my own set of laminated strategy cards that have hi-lo index numbers on them.
I made 2 different cards. One has the index numbers on them and the other looks the same but without the index numbers. I put them in my pocket in a specific order so that if anyone else wants to look at the card, I can pull out the one without the numbers without mixing them up.
