Sun Runner: Next Sunday's chat .. Johnny C.
I read a post that seemed to say that if a direct coorelation could be made between the book and the real world, the book leader of the pack -Mikey Rosa -was modeled after Mr. Chang.
When he popped in the other night, I did not get that feeling from him. My vibe was he would have been a player, not a teacher.
Anyone know? (I don't want to appear stupid(er) next Sunday.)
(BTW if I'm not there it is only because I'll be livin' large in Manhattan that week and can't get to a computer!)

I haven't read the book (Bringing Down the House), but I believe that Johnny used the name Mickey Rosa while playing in the last (first) World Series of Blackjack. It's been awhile, so I can't recall with certainty. Anyone?

I know, but I'll be with two 80 plus year old oldsters, wife, her aunt and uncle. I'll have my notebook, but finding the time .... ?
This time, I'm just the lackey boy!

20 minutes? Last time JC stuck around for at least two hours I think.
So, like Jedidiah Nightlinger once opined to a women of questionable repute ..
"I have the inclination, the maturity, and the where-with-all; but unfortunately, I just don't have the time."
Hope to see you there.

Well, here is the deal.
Born and raised in Manhattan, so if you are not sure where to go, just ask.
