    sfgiants: Building BJ Book Library

    Ihave the following:

    BEAT THE DEALER
    KNOCKOUT BLACKJACK
    BURNING THE TABLES IN VEGAS
    BLACKJACK ATTACK 2/3

I would consider myself novice counter moving to Intermediate (using Casino Verite heavily/daily).

Which book would help me see examples of actual play and situations?

No BJ library is complete without Wong's "Professional Blackjack." I believe you would also enjoy Bryce Carlson's "Blackjack for Blood" and Ken Uston's "Million Dollar BJ," two very fine books.

    ES: DON'T buy

any book by John Patrick or by John Scarne. They have incorrect basic strategies. Don't buy any book that touts progressive betting systems.

    Thanks Don.

I ordered "Blackjack for Blood" but went to my library and checked our "Million Dollar Blackjack (1981 Edition-Green Cover)), Professional Blackjack (Black Cover) and a book called "TWO BOOKS ON BLACKJACK" which has One Third of a Shoe and How You Can Win at Blackjack in Atlantic City and Nevada."

Can't wait to dig in finally see some words from Uston.
