    Hollywood: Blackjack Heaven

I had something happen to me last night that was a first. Listen to this.

I'm sitting in the pit(where does not matter) and i'm in the middle of the table with 2 other players.

A guy at first base and a lady at 3rd.

on 6 seperate occasions last night, while the count was extremly favorable and bets were flying because of it. She says "DEAL ME OUT UNTIL THE NEXT SHOE"

When she did it once I felt great, twice and i'm saying wow what a night.

But, this became her regular pattern. If she lost a few hands in a row, she ran for cover. In addition I was playing with some of the best pen i've ever seen.

When this happens once it's great, but over and over and over. Unbelieveable.

I was beating them up so bad, that I started playing progression at a few high counts just so I would be able to come back.

I keep a log of dealers who give good pen.
    As well as bad.

But, from now on I think i'm gonna go out of my way to locate this lady so i can play with her again.

Here's a possible explanation: The lady was a spotter for the man. She was betting small and he was betting big, when the count warranted it. She signaled the count, and when it got good, she dropped out of the game to leave him more of the high cards.

    Just a thought.

    Johnny Bravo: Another possibility

Ploppies do this too. The count is rising with all those small cards coming out and everybody is losing. Ploppies/streak players drop out because of it leaving you with great conditions. Most of the time, the ploppies leave the table after this happens a couple of times. Don could also be correct if the man was increasing his bet at appropriate times.

Trust me that was not the case.

This guy at first base was the kind of guy who gets out of the shower to take a piss.

I'm doing this long enough to tell the difference.

But, it was a nice thought.

I hope you are talking only about YOUR bets.
If every time the count was good "bets" ( plural ) were flying, then there probably was another counter at the table - not a good thing.
