Hollywood: This is a first for me

Hi everybody, I'm back in the Islands for 2 weeks and something happened at the blackjack table I have never seen before.

Last night i'm playing a 6 deck with TERRIBLE PEN.

I'm figuring it has something to do with me,(i'm just naturally parinoid these days) but i'm being patient, because the previous dealer was giving pen that was acceptable.

The guy to the left of me who is playing with blacks waits until the dealer finishes his shuffle and starts yelling about the PEN.

Saying things like "this is rediculous" "cash me in, i'm gonna go play next door" etc.

So me playing moron says, "why would that matter"
He says because everything in this game is in streaks and if any of us get a streak going it will end right in the middle of us getting hot"

I wasn't touching that with a 20 foot pole. So my response was "OH".

But, ladies and gentleman of the chat room here is the kicker.

THE PIT BOSS CAME OVER AND WENT INTO THE CARDS AND PUT THE CUT CARD BACK A FULL DECK.

I though I would fall on the floor.

With this guys screaming, he actually had them change the pen.

Like I started out saying,

Next time I'm losing and get lousy pen, I'll keep that ploy in mind.

By the time he stoped playing he was down in excess of $20,000.00. (twenty thou)

It was terrible to watch. At one point the count was so bad, I was gonna take a restroom break, and this guy kept increasing his bet.

There was a quote in a famous book.

"DONALD FORGIVE THEM, FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO"
