    HOllywood: I saw something interesting

happen last week. I was wondering if any of you had experienced the same.

There was a big disturbance at another BJ table where I was playing. This is in a part of the world that is very warm this time of year.

Anyway, when I went over and asked what was going on. A married couple was saying the cards were stacked with low cards. And, they were not leaving until the casino turned the cards over and proved to them it was 6 legitimate decks.

Well, the casino refused. And ultimately security and the local police escorted the americans out.

They did not appear to be counters, but they were losing alot of money and said the dealers were hardly ever breaking.

The husband said, him and the wife became suspicious and just counted out the 4's and 5's that came out which they said were more then 24 with a deck and half left.

I thought it was rediculous at first, until I realized the casino could have put it to sleep so easy, by turning the cards over and putting them in order.

I had never seen anything like that before, so it was kind of unique to me.

    John Lewis: corrupt blackjack game?

"The husband said, him and the wife became suspicious and just counted out the 4's and 5's that came out which they said were more then 24 with a deck and half left."

More than 24 4's and more than 24 5's in a six deck game? That definitely would arouse one's suspicion!

They were pretty sharp to diagnose the problem that way.

Do you think they were correct?

"This is in a part of the world that is very warm this time of year."

If you think this may have indeed been a corrupt game I hope you will be specific. Location and casino.

    Thanks.

In all fairness, I don't know that the game was corrupt. I just never saw anything like that happen before.

I just felt they should have showed them the cards. The whole casino was buzzing about it.

But, the players were being very arigant and perhaps that pissed them off.

I have sat at games many times where standard deviation took over and I was sure I was in a conspiracy. However, these people called them on it.

I think when you're outside the U.S. you need to be a little more careful.

With all the idiotic players around, why would a casino have to cheat?

That being said, they still should have showed them and the crowd that gathered that the cards were legit. I don't get that part.

The SD monster can be quite cruel , I sat at a game yesterday and lost 12 hands in a row , I lucked out for once and this happened during the start of a session when I still had 30 units left. I spread the bet up to 120 (6 units) and won the next 6 before the shuffle keeping above a TC of 3 the whole time. So yes it does look like the CIA has targeted your session and has devoted a crew to ending your blackjack evening many times blatantly giving the dealer a 5/2/2/2/10 against your doubled hard 10 as if you wouldn't see through the plot. I fortunately live by a casino that does not care about low spead counters and the dealer has even corrected my spread on a really high count split 12 against a dealer 16 once (I won both hands on a dealer bust and tipped her 20) but I have never seen them refuse a customer's request to verify when even a small hint of doubt was there. I would not feel comfortable playing in this casino as I also don't play in Akesasne Mohawk casino in NY after a simular incident where a player said the shoe had 3 excess 4's in it and would like the cards spread out.
