HOLLYWOOD: I LEARNED SOMETHING THIS WEEK

I went into a casino and had my act down so good. My camo was excellent.

As per Mr. Anderson I even played terrible BS, so that when I raised my bet no one would think anything of it.
Playing BS I insured all my blackjacks. I stood on 12 against a 3. I doubled on 9 against a 2 and stood on all soft 18's against 9 10 and ace blah blah blah. And of course I stood on 16 against 10 all the time without exception.

People at the table were mad at me. On guy cursing under his breath etc etc etc.
People comented to each other on one occasion how I didn't know how to play.

Well, don't ask me how. But, somehow the casino made me. And it didn't matter how bad I was hiding my skills. Soon as I raised my bet they called for a shuffle. They had a lady standing next to me. And once they picked me up a guy stood on the phone in front of me the whole time. It was actually not a nice experience. I took my chips wished everyone goodnight and left.

Well, what I realized is this. They need not know you are counting, they need only suspect you, and you are done.

And more important then that, is it does not matter how much camo you use if, they have your number. They are dumb, but not stupid.

I just thought I would share the experience

You don't say where you played, but, obviously, if it's at one of the places where your picture may have preceded you, all the camo in the world won't matter.

Actually it was NOT at one of my regular places.

But I guess "IF THEY KNOW THEY KNOW"

You know what really gets me, is that with 6 decks the edge is so slight and they still treat us like we are stealing. Go figure
