If you get paid double on a five card hand what is your edge?

Stanford has an entire chapter on five cards in Pro BJ. But, I don't believe five-card Charlie pays 2:1 is there. I get about .21 EV with CVData. That's BS, no mods. Clearly there can be some improvement with strategy changes.

Yes but this promo is double your winnings,so you have to win the nand first i think wongs is for automatic winner.

As you may know a 5-card automatic winner is worth 1.4%. Here obviously you must win before
getting paid. But let's think for a while.
On average a 5 card holding means you'll be 17 or higher with a good chance of being pat, that's having 20 or 21. Let's assume you'll win roughly your average 43% of your 5-cards holding. But winning this percent and getting paid 2 to 1 is the same as winning 86% of the hands and getting paid 1 to 1.
Therefore my prediction for this "promo" is:
.86*1.4% = 1.2%
Hitting aces after splits yields also a 0.1%
I'll be mistaken naturally, but this promo looks
like heaven! Enjoy
Sincerely

thanks i get the house edge normally to be .4.So with the 1.2% this gives you an edge of .8% starting off.yeah not bad.so with this i could stay at counts of -1 and still have an edge.
Does wongs books give indices?
Or maybe i should just flat bet as i have an advantage already.Be stupid to risk getting thrown out on a promo like this

Unfortunatelly Wong's PBJ covers the bonus for
a 5-card 21 pays 2-1. No tables for this "super-
bonus". By reading these tables you'll learn
a few tricks, anyway.
I'll play this game with a max. spread of 1 to 6, letting the winnings ride during the positive counts. Don't be so timid!
Take care
