HOLLYWOOD: OK, HERE'S A QUESTION?
I never increase my bet no matter how positive the count jumps after a losing hand. Just like I never decrease a bet after a winning hand no matter how negative the count goes. (BJ ATTACK, YOU FIND THE PAGE)
But the other night I was on a losing sreak while the count after each hand was getting jucier and jucier. So at +7 I still only had 2 unit bet out there.
Do you think it would be fine at that point to make the increase after a losing hand by just going to 2 hands of 2 units. Or do you feel the eye in the sky would see that as a negative?
I thought after losing a few in a row, I could just put up another hand and say something like "gotta try something".
Just curious.
Thanks

Again, in the cover chapter, I say that there are times when, if you must, you can attempt to violate these rules, under "special" conditions, such as you describe below.

Yes, absolutely, you can go to the two hands. You simply say, "I have to do something to change the cards," and everyone understands and sympathizes with you. I do it all the time; it looks very natural.

Yes, without a doubt, that's the right thing to do.

I usually bet with the count when losing. It can actually be good cover at times. I make it appear as if I'm going on tilt trying to chase my money. The pit boss smiles when I have to reach in my pocket and keep digging. Little do they know,I'm smiling also
