A few days ago I attended a blackjack tournament. While I was there, I ran into a friend (whom I hadn't seen for about a year) who has one of the best blackjack minds I have ever been around, and is a very succssful counter.

We were standing around waiting for the tournament to begin.
He told me they invited him to the tournament, but while he was staying in the hotel he was allowed to play any casino game, other then Blackjack.
So he was there for the weekend to enjoy some craps.
Him and I both have the same host at this particular casino. Our host contacted him and said, that his boss called him and said this person was no longer invited here as a blackjack player.
As a Blackjack player no comps would be in force and credit lines would be cancelled. If he chooses to play blackjack (on the east coast they are not allowed to bar anyone) in addition to the above the casino would take all necessary precautions.

The reason I thought this story was worth mentioning, is because he received this call 3 days after he LOST 14 thousand dollars.
This is living proof that they don't care if you win or lose. If they validate your counting skills, they want no part of you.

I thought it was of particular interest that while he was losing the 14k, that no one said a word. They allowed him to take the loss, go home and break the news to him 3 days later.

I asked our host about it, and he said it did not surprise him. He was told to take one of his best customers off the list after he had 80 thousand in losses over a 2 week period.

Anyway, as I hear them I just pass them on for what they are worth.
