    Av: Weird rule...immediate help please!

Of what value is the exposed down card after an insurance call? (The dealer has no BJ) SD, D10, H17 game?

How to best use it? I might be able to figure out something, but my poor little brain is fried at this point.

On pg 114 of BC, it says the edge from optimal play with the ace is -.07. I deleted my post because I thought I made a mistake in that it could be the ten as well. Then I reread your post and it said after the insurance call.
