    M.: Don: Betting Progression

In a 6-deck game with a 1-12 spread would you recommend the following:
TC 0 or less = 1 Unit (table minimum)
    TC +1 = 2 Units
    TC +2 = 4 Units
    TC +3 = 6 Units
    TC +4 = 8 Units
TC +5 and above = 2 Hands of 6 Units

Is this the optimal way to bet assuming a minimum spread of 2n (n is # of decks) and no backcounting?

    Thanks for your help.

Comments: Doesn`t have to be table min.

You should provide some important information to Don here.
1- What are the rules ?
2- What is the penetration ?
3- What is the RoR you can live with ?

    Cheers, G Man.

AC: S17, DAS, No-resplitting of pairs, DOA, One card to split Aces...

    > 2- What is the penetration ?

    75%

    > 3- What is the RoR you can live with ?

A 5% RoR is usually what i would play with.

The count you're using might be helpful, too! :-)
    I'll assume hi-lo (see below).

For a $12,000 bank, you could use a $10 unit for counts of 0 and below, then bet $20 at +1, $40 at +2, $80 at +3, and two hands of $60 at +4 and higher. ROR is 6.45%.

Know, however, that this is a horrendous game, at which you'd win $11.60 per hour.
