Harold Harvey: I'm afraid so -- at the Eldo (where else?)

The Eldorado has one table of it on weekends. They call it Super Single-deck: H17, DA2, DAS, 6:5 BJ payoff. Locals will not play it, hence the weekend offering.

I do not expect this lousy game to spread throughout Reno. Reno is perhaps the most competitive of gaming markets. The Reno market is staring at the burgeoning California casino industry. Huge casinos are being built along I-80 and US-50. The last thing the Reno market needs is to trash its image in the eyes of California gamblers with 6:5 blackjack payoffs and MP21 micromanager blackjack tables. It is too much to expect the Eldorado?s management to understand this; they only learn things the hard way. (Net income was down 43% at the Eldorado last year, BTW). The more sensible members Reno?s casino industry are not offering the game -- at least not yet.

Mr.X: Thanks for the very imformative answer, HH!

LOL that they only offer it on weekends, only for the tourists!
If I were to have guessed who'd be 1st with the 6/5, I'd have guessed the paranoid Peppermill. But I am not surprised it's the paranoid Eldorado.
