West Tex: Treasure Island 2 deck
Just returned from vegas April 8th
I played the $25 double deck with a 1 to 12
spread with no heat. I noticed that the discard
tray had a notch cut in it were the cut card
would be placed every time. It looked to be About
32 cards cut off. No one was allowed to enter the
game untill a new shuffle. Are there any more
double deck games in vegas like this?

I just got back from Vegas too. I agree, the T.I. game is a gold mine. It seems as if these games are few and far between. Check out Bellagio (same game more or less) and Mirage.
Buenas cartas,

You really need to beware. The TI watches this game very closely. If you get barred from this one property, you're toast at all the other commonly owned ones (Bellagio, Mirage, golden Nugget).
Careful!! 1-12 in DD is piggish and is bound to get you barred in short order.

The Bellagio and Mirage DD games aren't quite as good - they probably cut off about 10 more cards. The $100 at TI is even better as it is just like the $25 tables except is also S17. The $100 game can sometimes be found at $25 too on the off hours. While I'm all for spreading 1-12 if you can get away with it, keep in mind that, unlike many places, these Mirage Resorts joints aren't staffed by complete idiots. Some of their people actually have a clue.
If you are a green chip (or above) bettor, you will be hard-pressed to find another casino with DD conditions as good as those found at TI. The game at Mandalay Bay has surrender, which is a nice bonus, and some of the dealers give decent penetration. You will have to do a little research work, though, to find out when you're most likely to find a game with 70% or better penetration there, as the average is probably closer to 55-60%.
Casino Royale and Texas Station have plenty of good DD games, though you may find it difficult to pull off a 1-12 spread in green at either of those (though it certainly can be done).

I agree, plus the heat at Mandalay Bay is a tenth of what you normally would see at T.I. (I spread one to five at T.I. $25 DD)

At Man Bay one can get away with 1:8 for short stays and stay under the radar.
