    21forme: Make up a number?

Hope you don't mind me resurrecting this thread. I usually don't read the LV forum, so just playing catch-up.

Question - if the amount of chips is well below the 10K limit, is there any law preventing you from giving them a false SSN?
I presume they are simply asking for the number and not demanding the SSN card (which even Uncle Sam says should not be carried.)

That would be great and probably an okay thing to do if you don't plan on being a regular player there. If you have a history (or plan on creating a history there), the SSN you provide TODAY will be attached to your account and could come back to haunt you later when you have to give them a REAL SSN to finish up some business.
