Front line report: all gamblers talked about today in the casinos was 7/7/07, so the casino marketing plan worked wonders! And, of course, EVERYONE was going to be a winner on "their" lucky day. It was for me, but hey, I had some math skills in play that most gamblers don't.

Speaking of 7/7/07, has anyone seen a slot promotion with 7X points? I ran into one today. I've heard of double points, and the like, but 7X????? Gave me the opportunity to slip a few bucks into one of my favorite machines--and I managed to come out ahead in $$$ and with 7x points, I'm sure I earned some extra comp dollars too for use later!

Yep, all of the Stations casinos and Fiestas had 7X points, but they regularly have 3X and 5X points, so I guess it wasn't such a big deal for them to do 7X. I didn't even bother trying to get a seat anywhere as I don't have the patience for that kind of thing or the crowds I fully expected to see. I did happen to hit a royal at another casino, but still ended up down almost $200.
