CSM player: best rules for CSM ?

    I love playing CSMs,
Who can tell me the best rules with the lowest house edge in Vegas? What will be the second best place for playing it? Is there sometimes heat on CSM players? I would play without a players card since you cannot trust these "private information selling companies"

    thanks

Trapper: Re: best rules for CSM ?

Based on a recent trip and Current Blackjack News:
Best rules for CSMs are at the high-end Strip casinos and outside the strip at a couple of the Station casinos. All the CSM I know of in Las Vegas are H17. Several casinos offer H17 DAS RSA LSR game with a house edge of less than .5 % (Aladdin, Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, MGM, Wynn, Mirage, etc) The LV Hilton offers a slightly worse game with the same rules but no rsa. Outside of the Strip, a few of the Station casinos offer similar rules with similar house advantages (Red Rock, Texas Station, maybe others). Forget the local casinos and the downtown CSMs.

Worse CSM: According to CBJN, Hooters offers a 6 deck H17 D10 6:5 (2.3% house advantage) which must be the worst BJ game on the planet.

    Heat?
Why would there be heat for playing a game with a guaranteed house edge? The longer you play the greater the certainty you will be putting money in the casino's pocket. You will be welcomed with open arms. Casinos reserve heat for advantage players (or suspected advantage players).

    Players cards
You can choose to play without a players card but if you are not being rated for comps you are giving up your only real chance to make up some of that house advantage. Unlike many loyalty card companies, I think most players clubs claim not to trade or sell your information to third parties or they have an entry on the form for you to opt out of information sharing. I don't think they are "private information selling companies" but you could read the fine print on any form you sign.

Just curious, why do you love playing CSMs?
