Bettie: New Advantage Play Opportunity? :)
From today's LVRJ:
Now that "The Price Is Right" is a part of the Vegas landscape, might it be reasonable to wonder if all the rounders and card counters will be hustling over to Best Buy to memorize the prices of major appliances?
Bally's live version of the TV game is considered a promotion and thus not subject to gaming control regulations, says producer Andy Felsher. But the show has been in Reno and Atlantic City, so Felsher says he is not naive to the possibility of casino sharpies trying to master the game.
If it becomes a problem, Felsher says the show will put a four-time limit on the number of times a person can play, which was done in Atlantic City and Reno. But to "Come on down" at Bally's, you have to be one of the four fastest people to buzz in on the answer to a preliminary question. Felsher says the responses on the wireless keypads are accurate to 1,000th of a second, and the keypads weren't used in the other gaming meccas.
He also says the questions are different every day, and the prizes rotate. Might be easier to stick to those blackjack strategy guides.

So they can take you to the back room and rough you up, huh? Just like Bob Barker! =)

Yeah right, because those Keno players are so good at guessing numbers! I'm still waiting for the casino version of Plinko.

"I'm sorry sir, your play is too strong for us. Please step away from the buzzer. Feel free to count cards, but no more Price Is Right."

Isn't there a version at Hilton? Seriously, I remember standing by one while waiting for friends.
