    Parker: South Coast impressions

A trusted source sent me this information (and gave me permission to post it) regarding the new South Coast casino at the south end of the strip"

"If you like SunCoast, then you're going to love South Coast - obviously designed by the same crew. It's a reach to describe it as "on the strip" - it's about 4 miles south of Mandalay Bay.

"The blackjack is nothing to get excited about. There are about 20 double deck tables and 10 6D shoe tables. Rules are H17, DA2, DAS, no Surrender. Mostly $5 or $10 min tables, $500 or $1000 max, with a few $25-$2000 tables. Pen is mediocre or worse, with nearly a deck usually being cut on the DD games, and 1.5 decks or more beyond the cut card on the shoes.

"On the positive side, there are no 6:5 games, no SuperFun 21, no CSM's and no 8 deck shoes."

DA2 (Double Any 2) - Doubling down on any first two cards is allowed.

DAS (Double After Splitting) - Doubling down after splitting a pair is allowed.
