Kasey: What bothered me about the show
The thing that bugged me about the show was the big deal they made about pit harrassment being the casino's only "weapon" against a dice controller.
Surely the casino can show a craps player to the door the same as a BJ player.

Thank you. Of course that makes sense; as I said earlier my ignorance of the game puts me on thin ice.

You seem to have an opinion about this topic and from your writing style I would assume you believe influenceing the dice to be possible.
Do you know of any empirical studies (empirical I guess because how do you 'sim' one guys physical dexterity!?) that would confirm anyones ability to do so?
Thanks for clearing up that first point.

I wondered the same thing.
Possibly anything involving a physical movement (muscle memory) can be disrupted easier than knocking a guy off his game who is mentally counting cards.
So they throw the card counting bum out and they just screw with the dice thrower's concentration; leaving him to keep throwing and losing like the rest.
OR, they don't do that at all (made for TV.)

Polite back-offs do not make for exciting television.

The Wizard of Odds has a good article on this topic on his web site. Here is a link to the article.
In answer to your question: I have not yet formed an opinion one way or the other.
