And even Wynn LV will not change that
It will be interesting to see if they tighten up on comps, slot payouts, and table games in general.

Bettie: Mandalay Execs Will All Go
From today's LVRJ, with link to entire story below:
Corporate executives and directors of the Mandalay Resort Group collectively will earn more than $76.3 million in stock options once the company's merger with MGM Mirage is completed, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
In addition, other Mandalay employees, including corporate vice presidents, managers and various property officials, will share more than $11 million in bonuses because they stayed with the company through the deal's eventual completion.
The Nevada Gaming Commission will rule today on MGM Mirage's $7.9 billion buyout of Mandalay. The state Gaming Control Board Tuesday recommended approval of the transaction, which will create a 28-casino company with operations in five states and more than 75,000 employees.

Shaggy18VW: Bobby Baldwin?
In the article Bobby Baldwin was mentioned as being an executive with MGM. Is that the same Bobby Baldwin of poker fame?

Yes. So far as I know, he runs the poker room at Mirage -- or, at least he used.

Bettie: Yes, and No
Yes, it is the same Bobby Baldwin of poker fame, and No he doesn't run the poker room at Mirage. When I met him about 2 years ago, he was way, way, way uppermanagement at the MGM. I forget what his exact title was at the time, but according to the article, he currently runs the Mirage Resorts branch of MGM-Mirage Resorts.
He is a really nice guy, btw, and I love that he became super powerful and still prefers to be called "Bobby" instead of Bob or Robert. He also has a poker book out now called Bobby Baldwin's Winning Poker Secrets.
