    The Maxim was purchased by the Westin chain, given a frame-up restoration, and re-opened as the Westin Casuarina. It's essentially an upscale business-type hotel (Hilton, Marriott, etc.) with a small casino, which features a few mediocre 6D shoes. I don't know why they even bothered with the casino, since any business type that wants to gamble will undoubtedly opt to take the short hike to Caesars, Bellagio, etc.
