Virus sickens 1,200

LAS VEGAS - The number of people reporting symptoms from a norovirus outbreak at a Las Vegas Strip hotel-casino has topped 1,200, the Clark County Health District said.

County health officials and the Flamingo Las Vegas had reported 270 people affected since the illness was reported Oct. 16. The number increased after an investigation, said Brian Labus, the agency's senior epidemiologist.
