Just a few little newsbits on the local entertainment scene:

Harrah?s is building a 17,000-square foot restaurant and entertainment venue, set to open next summer, with country music star Toby Keith. The VIP booths will look like Ford pickups and the beer will come in Mason jars at I Love This Bar & Grill! (if you listen to Keith, you get the name), a $9 million project that will be ?all Toby, all the time.? The venue will offer comped food and drinks to active military personnel. Harrah's plans to open a second location at its Kansas City, Mo., casino.

Comedian David Brenner closes out his headliner run tonight at the Westin Casuarina, and will begin a new resident headliner gig starting Friday at the Hilton Las Vegas. According to Brenner, "The Hilton's going to do a major revamp; I've seen the plans." Sounds intriguing!

If you?re going to be attending ?Havana Night Club? tonight, you may run into actor Kevin Costner, as he has made arrangements to attend the new Stardust show tonight. Word is, Costner sent Cuban President Fidel Castro a letter urging an end to the red tape that jeopardized the troupe's trip to Las Vegas.

Tonight?s Hot Spot will be the ?Boxers and Bustiers? pool party at the Hard Rock Hotel. Hosted by porn star Jenna Jameson, men are encouraged to wear boxers and women to wear lingerie, so hang out at the Hard Rock for some real eye candy! Sorry, the party is a private event; you need to be invited by Jenna or be a Hard Rock invited VIP to attend.
