I was well-known as a counter in the casinos I play in (out of Vegas). One of the pit bosses in a casino I play in a lot asked me my name and what I'm up to and what I'm studying in university. Also, I suspect the casinos had my photo taken in the sureveillance camera...

I would be extremely surprised if you were in Griffin. Were you 86'ed (not merely backed off) at any of your local casinos? Do you play at black chip levels and above? Are you a known team player? If you don't answer yes to all of these, then it is very unlikely that you are in Griffin.
