    Hal Jordan: Vintage Vegas

When I come to Vegas in a couple of weeks, I would like to find a few stores that sell casino items such as decks of cards, matchbooks, chips, etc. from the more classic days of Las Vegas (Sands, Dunes, El Rancho, etc.). I often visit the Gambler's General Store, but they do not carry much in the way of vintage items. Any help is appreciated.

There used to be such a shop in the mall out at Primm, not sure if it is still there though. There was also a shop opposite Just for Feet in the Forum shops that sold collectables and carried some 'vintage items' on the upper floor, if no luck try ebay.

Gambler's General Store might be worth another look. The last time I was in there I noticed that they had a new display with chips from several defunct casinos (Hacienda, Silver Slipper, Sands, etc.)

While I was there, some clown actually asked why they didn't carry chips from currently operating casinos! :-)

You might also try the gift shop next to the Casino Legends Hall of Fame in the Tropicana.

Yeah, That place in the Primm mall was called Lost Vegas. They had some cool stuff. Unfortunately, they are no longer there.
    Good Luck Hal,

Speaking of eBay, there are some cool picture frames with casino cards and chips (Sands, Binions, etc.). You might be interested in those, Hal. Just search for "riverboat old west" and click on the seller's other auctions.

    Good Luck
