    HankT: casino verite

Norm, I gave up playing craps and took up bj. After reading most of the books by the great players of the game, I purchased the casino verite soft ware. It is truly a great program and I really enjoy using or trying to use it as I am not very gifted in computers. I can't figure out how to get the best scores on the Inter net test. I use th ko rookie count. It seems the lower my time is the lower my score is. I am currently 14th in the two card flash drill. My time was 42.7 for a score of 427. The top score is 655 at 65.5. Can you tell me where to put my settings to improve my scores? I read the manual but can't figure it out. Thanks for any help. Hank

Factors in the ITest Scores include Accuracy, speed setting, and complexity of strategy. As KO is a fairly simple strategy, it will generally give lower scores. Unless you add indexes.

Norm I hate to ask stupid questions but how would I add the indexes or what other strategy could I use ? thanks again.

The point of the drill is to compete against yourself. There is no need to add indexes to KO. It's just fine as it is.

thanks Norm, I just could not figure out if the 426 score was good or bad using the ko. Would the hi lo count be harder to do?

Each of the drills scores are calculated differently. Really don't remember each one, but generally the card counting drills depend on the level of the count and flash cards depend on the number of indexes.

Not harder to count but harder to implement because the running count must be converted to the true count before using index numbers or determining your bet.
