bfbagain: To ES
For some inexplicable reason, my post was rejected due to (in someone's imagination) "naughty language." I can't find (and stopped after a few changes,) what the offending word(s) are. I emailed Viktor and kept a copy if you're interested.
Hopefully, it will get posted.
Maybe PC has really run amok. There was absolutely nothing that could even remotely be construed as "naughty." I edited the name of an electronic store and an antivirus app to check. Same thing.
I added some thoughts and recommendations to Norm's response to you.

Parker: links
Links are blocked from the message box. Otherwise, I would spend several hours a day deleting posts from spam bots for porn sites, "male enhancement" products and online pharmacies. The names of products commonly sold by online pharmacies are also blocked.
My apologies for any inconvenience.
If you wish to post a link, you can still use the "Optional Link URL" boxes below the message box.

bfbagain: Re: links
There were three links, one to avg, one to clamwin and one to safer-networking (spybot).
If I may make a suggestion, considering it really is just programming code, to identify "naughty" as it is intended to be and to use " multiple web links not allowed" to identify the reason for the error as it is intended, i.e., multiple links are not allowed.

I'm not about to start hacking the WebBBS code - with my limited programming knowledge, I'd probably seriously break something. :-)
What I'm doing is using an existing feature of the software, which was originally intended to block objectionable content (such as profanity or sexually explicit posts), for an entirely different purpose.
While I do apologize for the confusion, it actually works quite well.
