Norm Wattenberger: Re: CD Data New Edition Request for Norm

Switch is a bit of a problem as there exist so many combinations it's a pain to define a strategy that is reasonably simple for a human. Haven't really given it much thought before. How common are the tables?

The game is not common, but it exists in Las Vegas. The casino edge is low for this game. We should have available to us the strategies for any such games and the means to simulate and develop them, especially in light of how few decent games remain.

There are 8 tables in 3 casinos in LV, a few tables in Reno and one in California according to CBJN. It is also online at some Playtech casinos and according to Wizard of Odds it is offered in Russia. I'd say the jury is still out on the question of whether it is here to stay or not.

    ES: Not common, but

BJ switch games have a starting disadvantage of only 0.2%, which is about the best starting disadvantage available.
