    David Spence: Tough CVBJ betting strategies question

    I'm trying to define a betting strategy in Casino Verite and I'm having some trouble. Any correct explanation for how to define the following betting strategy would be greatly appreciated:

    TrueCount Bet
    <=0 $15
    1 $25
    2 $50
    3 $100
    >=4 $125

    No decrease after a win, regardless of count.

    No increase after a loss, regardless of count.

    No taking chips from rack to increase bet (so "letting it all ride" is maximum increase; chips from successful doubles and splits on previous hand may be used for increase).

    If count>=4 and bet>=$125, increase by $25 after a win.

    Bet for first hand after shuffle = bet for last hand before shuffle, regardless of win, lose, or push.

    Always play 1 hand.

    Set the unit size to $5 and the bets to 3,5,10,15,20,etc.

    Bet for first hand after shuffle = bet for last hand before shuffle, regardless of win, lose, or push.

    This is unusual. Although many people do not drop to one unit on a shuffle for cover reasons; most people at least allow a partial drop on a loss. That's supported wit the normal CV options. If you wish to force the first bet after a shuffle to the last bet before the shuffle; you can do this using the Multi-Betting Strategy feature. Set up two strategies. One is only used for the first hand and the other for all other hands. For the first hand strategy; simply set all sets to the previous bet no irrespective of the last hand results.

    Thanks...that's exactly what I did and it seems to be working fine.
