lagavulin62: cvdata (index)
I generated indexes for hi/lo as a first time test run for 6 deck, das, s17, at 80% penetration, using the flooring method. they came out consistent with wong's numbers but I have a few questions:
1. when indexes are generated, what is the recommended or standard penetration level?
2. should I generate for specific rules or is it better to generate a composite index?
3. how do you order a composite index generation for cvdata? (by composite I am referring to one for multi-deck, all rules)
thanks,
mike

The level you play most frequently. For 6 decks that may be 4.5.

If you play predominantly one set of rules, do it for them.

Don't know. Perhaps Norm can help. I'm not sure that's such a good idea anyway.

There isn't one composite. It depends on how often you play each. Gives me an interesting idea for an addition though.

thanks norm, don for the advice.
next up is unbalanced, I already have some concerns about how best to accomplish this but will wait till I finish.
