arkandor: Cardoza 1-2-3 Multideck ?
Hi all,
just learning KO and reading several book about aspects of winning at BJ.
I've seen the adverts for Cardozas "Multi Deck Non-Counter 1-2-3 Winning".
I wonder if winning am multideck without counting can exist and as I am sure many of you have checked out this publication would like to get some reviews if it is worth buying.
As you may have interpreted my writing I am very sceptical that a non-count can work on multidecks...

Cardoza's books are aimed at recreational players. I don't know the details of his "1-2-3 strategy," but I do have a copy of his Winning Casino Blackjack for the Non-Counter. In this, he suggests increasing the bet after seeing a lot of small cards coming out. He claims that this is not card counting. I disagree.
I would guess that his "1-2-3 strategy" is something along the same lines, and probably gives a player a tiny edge over the casino. His books (again, being written for the casual player) do not provide much in the way of hard numbers.
Rather than spending $75 (or whatever he is asking for it these days) on his system, I would suggest investing $16 in Fred Renzey's excellent Blackjack Bluebook II. Fred covers several methods of gaining an edge over the casino without employing a full-blown counting system, as well as providing all the info on a series of level one unbalanced systems (his "KISS" counts), and a powerful level 2 system (Mentor count).
It is available from our online catalog (direct link below).
Or simply stick with KO, which is undoubtedly more powerful than Cardoza's system.
