    Magician: Protect Your Identity

If you see an unexpected popup while browsing the web, it's probably a good idea not to enter any personal information, especially passwords. Maybe it's just a harmless glitch in the website, or maybe your information is being transmitted to a third party for all sorts of nefarious purposes.

Identity theft is on the increase, yet a survey has shown that 70% of people will give away their password for a bar of chocolate. What's your identity worth?

PS Click the link below and enter your AdvantagePlayer.com user name and password for a FREE bar of chocolate.

    Parker: Suggestions

    > I HAVE DIFFICULTY KEEPING MY LEVEL 2 COUNT
    > WHEN DECK GOES NEGATIVE--ANY SUGGESTIONS

    I have lots of suggestions:

There is no substitute for practice. If you need work on negative numbers, practice counting down decks starting with, say, -10 instead of 0. You should end up with the same number as you started, assuming that you are using a balanced count.

Consider investing in software such as Casino Verite, and use it to practice. It may be set for a negative deck bias, to provide practice in with negative counts.

Finally, if you continue to struggle, consider switching to a level one count. The gain from a level 2 count is small, especially in shoe games, and is quickly negated if you make frequent mistakes.

The following suggestions do not address your question, but will greatly enhance your overall experience on Advantageplayer.com:

Please do not post in all caps. It is the cyberspace equivalent of shouting, and is considered poor form. Besides, it's hard to read, and marks you as an Internet newbie.

Please do not make off-topic posts in existing threads. If you wish to post a question, click on the "Post New Message" link at the top of any index page. This will ensure that you get a good response to your question.

Likewise, try to pick an appropriate forum for your qestions. For example, this question would have been more appropriate for the "Blackjack Beginners" forum, since it has nothing to do with computers.
