    Dancer: Update Thought

    Norm,

Could you allow the CVCX Viewer to scroll and/or display more lines? For the multi-level system users who want to test Wonging out at -5, we only see up to >=6 on the high side. That prevents us from seeing our full bet ramp.

As an alternative, in addition to the "Lowest True Count Tracked" setting on the sim page, perhaps a "Wong Out At True Count" could be added with an indication as to what % of hands we sat out (like the display for back counting does now).

Also, two bugs in my particular implementation (build 2.0.71 on XP Pro). Create a CVCX sim for Hi-Opt II and set "Lowest True Count Tracked" to -5. In the viewer, betting tab, set Back-Counting to -5 by clicking the arrow keys produces:

    Run-time error '9':
    Subscript out of range

Also, clicking "Summaries" button from the viewer produces:

    Run-time error '76';
    Path not found

    Thanks...

Two additions to V3. One, up to seven more rows are added. Two, the bottom TC can be automatically found.

If you are talking about wong-in & wong-out at different levels, that can't be done with pre-run sims. Gotta do that with CVData.

Could you e-mail me specifics? I had one other person tell me this but can't reproduce it. Must be some rare set of circumstances.

    That'll work...

I'll send you an e-mail on how to reproduce the error message.

    I hope to see CVBJ35!

    Why?

It would mean that Norm and I have both lived to ripe old ages.

It would mean that, many years into the future, we still have playable blackjack.

    :-)
