czechs play: breaking vegas show on history channel
i just watched the show Breaking Vegas on the History channel and noticed alot of the casino scenes were shot at Barona in SD. They shot one scene where the PC is calling the eye in the sky about a card counter at one table. the funny part is that i recognized that PC as one who really works at Barona. In my gambling spreadsheet, I have him listed under my "bad" list of PCs. I know every PC by face and have each categorized on my good, naughty, or neutral list. You could say it's my very own Griffin list.
BTW, Barona gives very little heat to APs, so i thought it was interesting they were filming a show about card counters.

Parker: Not surprising
It's a win-win situation. The show producers don't have the expense of building a set, and the casino gets free publicity.
Likewise, why pay a professional actor, when a "real" PC is happy to do the job just for his 15 minutes (or seconds) of fame.
Barona is, after all, the home of the Blackjack Hall of Fame.
It it true that Barona is fairly tolerant of low-stakes counters. However, once your max bet gets above $500 or so, they become a lot less tolerant (but still polite about it).
