I don't know and, to be blunt, I don't care. Last I heard, San Manuel is one of the few casinos that still charges a per-hand "collection," which makes the games unplayable regardless of rules, number of decks, etc.

Thanks Parker. I thought I heard that they had gotten away from the collection. It should would be surprising to have it in the new place.

My information is current as of a few months ago. Also, their website mentions nothing about the collection being dropped, but does tout a lengthy series of bonus hands and drawings on different days of the week. This sort of promotion is normally found on collection games, and used to justify the collection, at least to the math-impaired.

Perhaps you are thinking of Morongo, which did eliminate their collection games not too long ago.

that their web site proclaims that as of Jan 4th there is no more collection! And it looks as though they offer 3:2 blackjack.

. . . and it only took them 5 years.

All casinos offer 3:2 blackjack (at least I have yet to hear of a casino anywhere offering 6:5 games exclusively).

    Thanks for the info.

I think that Casino Royale in Vegas only has 6:5. They had a DD 3:2 game up until about Aug. '04. Now I think they only have Switch 21 and 6:5 DD. (On the 6:5 game if the player and the dealer both get a blackjack, the player's is an automatic winner. Whoopee!)

Last time I was in there (a couple of months ago) I saw one fake DD CSM table that was still 3:2. There hasn't been anything playable there for some time. Of course, they are in a unique location, right there in the middle of everything. All they have to do is offer lower mins than the big casinos and they will have full tables, regardless of the quality of the game.

The place started going downhill when they replaced the neat little Italian joint with an Outback Steakhouse.

Still, if indeed they no longer have any 3:2 BJ games at all, it is an ominous harbinger of things to come.

and I've used 'em. I've also spent $100 chasing the quad at their 25 cent bonus poker in the hopes of using their quad coupon. Never got the quad.
