Was recently announced that Barrick Gaming Corp.
has purchased the Laughlin GN.Barrick has also
aquired six downtown Las Vegas clubs,and has an
interest in some riverboat casinos.Does anyone
know what the management style of Barrick is?
Wondering if we keep a decent place to play or
get a Harrahs clone.
Judging from what they did with The Plaza, my guess is that the games may improve slightly. The Nugget IMO is probably the nicest, albeit one of the smallest, of the casinos in Laughlin.
I agree with the Marauder. The Plaza now has several tables of their great DD game and the LV Club is not far behind. Even the Western has been cleaned up quite a bit. Barric now has 3 of the top 5 games on Fine Tuner's Green Chip list.
