Howdy all. I'm new too this BJ thing and to this area. What are the casinos like in Colorado?

You can find some excellent penetration and decent rules at a couple places in Blackhawk, but Colorado law limits you to $5 bets.

You mean there's a $5 limit on all bets? That's interesting. I was hoping to find some low limit places to test myself on but I was also hoping to move to higher limits later. Guess I'll be road trippin'

Sentry: Re: colorado casinos
I was there a few years back and thought I'd got my glimpse of my first "whale". There was a table with a VIP player with a "reserved" sign, and he was betting every spot on the felt. When I got close enough to see what was going on, I saw that indeed, he was playing the max- $35.00 spread across seven spots.
Also, to get around the $5.00 minimum law, some places had Multi-Action Blackjack, where you make three separate $5.00 bets.

And nobody mentioned that all the players split tens routinely. It's one of the few way to get extra money on the table.
