The is no LVA for the South, so if our hosts do not object, I'd like to see notices here of any Southern fried coupons and promotional offers.

But, there are many Mississippi and Louisiana casinos that are not covered. Here are few listings to get things rolling:

COUPONS
Rainbow Casino in Vicksburg Mississippi had a slick insert flyer in the Sunday 5/16/04 Clarion Ledger, and it may have appeared in other MS newspapers as well. It offers new players card members "Play $10, get $10 free", May 16-31. On the reverse is 12 coupons for daily "Play #20, get $10 free". This offer is for machine play only, and is for one per person per day. Some stores like Wal-Mart and drug stores carry Sunday papers until they are sold out, so you still have a chance to pick up one up.

Gulf Coast: Look for rack card in local motels, hotels, but especially at the Biloxi Welcome Center on Hwy 90. The best offers I've seen lately are a mailed cashback for new members at the Grand, and a 2-for-1 buffet coupon for the Casino Magic buffet.

Here are two more standing offers:

The Palace Casino in Biloxi fills the hotel tourism racks (except those at the Palace itself) with their "Gold Exchange" flyers. When you present one to the cashier along with your players club card, you receive a booklet filled with valuable (and not-so-valuable) coupons. In addition to the chaff, the booklet contains two each of the following:
1. Bet $5 and win $7 at the BJ table (I've actually received $10.50 for a BJ with one of these!)
2. Bet $5 and win $7 at craps (pass line only)
3. Bet $5 and win $7 at roulette (however, you must play on the specified color, and both coupons specify the same color, so no hedging your bets)
4. Free drink at the bar... imagine that! A free drink in a casino? ;-)
According to the flyer, players club members can obtain one booklet per week (Sunday through Saturday), so if you're there for the weekend, you can get two booklets. However, residents of Hancock, Harrison, and Jackson Counties in MI are not eligible.

The Copa Casino in Gulfport allows internet users to print their own coupons: check out their website at the link below. The fine print restricts their use to one of each per person per month, and excludes MI residents and bus trippers.

Beau Rivage in Biloxi is currently running an advertisement with a coupon that states they will match local competitiors coupons. They do not expressly state they will also accept New Orleans casino coupons, but the fine print says something like "Coast casinos no further than two hours away driving time". They give the value of the coupon in Free Play, so for some offers, you'd be better off with the cash at the original casino. There are restrictions- and they do not accept match plays or new member bonus offers. Also, new members get $5.00 in Free Play at card sign up.
