phantom007: Horseshoe BJ Conditions.
Played "the Shoe" several times this week. Played only 6D, $5. tables, due to recent "temperature" problems at SD and DD (at several places including HS). Used Revere Systemic Count, 1-12+ spread. Cut usually started at 1.5, but "experienced" dealers, who quickly realized that I tip well when winning, would drop cut down to 1.25.
Heat was non-existent on 6D...had to wear several layers.
Tend to get the same two dealers on any given table, i.e., the main one and the relief...I like this, so that when you get a good and "understanding" dealer, you do not have to chase same around the casino.
Early in the week, the place was vacant...lots of choice among EMPTY SD, DD, and 6D games. About the only full table was the one I was at...I keep forgetting that to most people this is a social game. By mid-week, the place was packed with what appeared to be college kids, and hard to get a good table.
Overall, shot up $500, drank too much "cover", got bored, and had a PLOPPY PROGRESSIVE RELAPSE. Bankroll took a $1,000. hit. Stuck to the system the rest of the trip, but never came back up.
6D is just so boring...next trip, back to SD. Going to have to learn to move more (and decrease my "cover")...I guess my days of 24 consecutive hours in the same SD seat are over.
Damn...They were fun! Tough not too profitable.

bigplayer: Re: Tunica Shoes
1. H17 DAS is a horrible game unless you've got fantastic penetration (less than one deck)
2. Shoes aren't quite as boring if you don't play through the negative counts
3. There may be some soft shuffles in Tunica that can be expolited by a knowledgable player.
4. The Grand has S17 on their shoes (but pen is often quite bad).
5. did I mention that H17 DAS shoes (no surrender) is a bad game generally.
