Rena: Hole Card tip off
I have a dealer that will tip me on her whole card when I am in the Casino and I still cant seem to win. I am new to blackjack and my girlfriend, the dealer, seems to think she can help me make a little cash. They play double deck pitch with the cards down and a 6 deck shoe game with the players cards up. When I play the shoe the dealer can see my cards so would that give me an advantage. Is there a preferred position on the table to sit? Is the shoe or pitch game better for me to play? How do strategies change if you know exactly what the dealer is holding. Any advice would be appreciated.

Parker: Warning
If the dealer is deliberately flashing your her hole card, this is collusion, and it is considered cheating. It is also a felony in Nevada. She could lose her job, and you could both end up in jail.
Utilizing the information gained from a dealer who is inadvertently exposing the hole card is an entirely different matter, and has been found to be perfectly legal, providing no device (mirror, etc.) is used to see the hole card, and the card is visible to players seated at the table.
Either way, discussing the specifics of hole card play on an open board probably isn't such a good idea, don't you think?
