    hit_or_stand: S.O.S

Ok I need the help of the experts; Im a begginer at counting I've read many books on BJ, looked at sites etc....My main question as a begginer is this lets say I walk into a casino with whatever rules or (S17, DAS, 75% pen, 6-8 decks, No surrender a bankroll of $5000). Lets say I play 1 shoe from the first hand till the end with a $25 flat bet and my outcome is lets say $x amount. Now say I rewind time and play the exact same shoe with same basic strategy the only difference is that I apply a leverl-one counting strategy like TKO and lets say for the spread I used every single plus count as a chip ( exlus 8 count ; I would bet 8 $25 chips); with same rules as the ones noted earlier or say any other rules....my question is what is my outcome going to be. Is this something that mathamatically be answered (excuse my mathematic retardation). I enjoy BJ as a game I am very interested in learning to count and willing to give practice and time; however if mathematically It does not help me to count under the TKO system in relation to the rules I must play assuming I can not travel etc... One other note: I did attempt to go to BJSTATS website just to see what it had to offer and I was dumbfounded the numbers did not mean much becaause I did not undertand what they stood for.... I would like to thank anyone in advance for answering my question.

It could be absolutely anything. You may win every hand, lose every hand, or anything in between. No counting system can predict short-term results. If one could, the casinos would stop offering blackjack.

All card counting does is shift the long-term advantage to the player's favor. This means that in the long run, over many hundreds of hours of play, the card counter will be a net winner (assuming that everything is done properly).

However, in any given round or session, anything can happen.

What Parker said is true, anything can happen and will happen in one single session.

But, your question does have an answer -over time. Your two specific fact situations could be loaded into a sim machine, a couple bgillion hands run, and you'd have an answer -for the long run.

I'd do it, but I'm still waiting on Norm to mail me the software.

(Of course he is still waiting on me to mail him the money.)
