In my short playing history I have not failed being harassed by those who insist last player calls should follow a variation from BS, and although I claim I'll never stop striving to learn a little something from everyone and everything, I quickly learned to not trust them.

But, but...

The point is, I did not investigate yet on which actual algorithms were used by BJ calculators the BS table was built with.
I mean, wise use of Combination(n,k) and like functions might help, but when you have a modern PC power, why not just *enumerate* all the possible hands? I figure I understood that was the way calculations were made.
I just didn't get whether the BJ programs enumerates card sequences just up to the *player* hand reaches a conclusion, and the same for the *dealer* hands, or whether they enumerate all the possible *whole 6 decks* card sequences???
(offhand, the latter would seem a bit absurd in term of PC power and time feasibility, but maybe my offhand guesstimates exaggerate the combinations #...).

I figure you take a possible player's completed hand.
You remove the drawn cards from the assumed new whole shoe.
You calculate the dealer's deterministic results and compare it with the player's, the way the player's hand had built up carrying no inlfuence on this calculation other than the missing cards already in the player's hand.

I have begun to wonder.

What if I control two consecutive boxes?
The shoe from which the cards are drawn IS the same.
When I decide whether Hit the infamous 16 vs 10 (actually I don't "decide", for now I stick with BS and always Hit, although this makes me gain a mere 0.36% in EV with the rules we have here...), the card I "do draw" or I "do not draw" on my 16 in my first box, it IS the SAME card that respectively "will not" or "will" be drawn on my 2nd box.
The same applies when I split, and I thought I read on some BJ calc that fro splits the 2 hands outcomes were calculate independently...
The same should also apply when you're the last to draw before the dealer, and consider that we have No Hole Card rule here.

Mind, I'm not giving in or taking anything for granted.
I'm just "contemplating the possibility" that the *combined* outcome of the two consecutive boxes hand might be somehow linked and different from the BS for a single *independent* hand.

I KNOW that the decisions of other players do not influence your EV, just as a however long sequence of heads does not alter the 50-50% chance of a coin toss.
But here I have ONE unknown card, and I can decide whether to "make it land" on my 1st OR 2nd box. It IS unknown beforehand, but at the same time it will NOT CHANGE its yet unknown value while "shifting" from the 1st to the 2nd box....

I just ask because this might be and old issue to you, and you might be able to give me the answer off the top of your head.
Otherwise I'll be forced to spend some more of my time in Excel BJH tables....

Maybe I should simply use some sleep before thinking further, after I made 6 am at the BJ table and directly came to work at 8:30 am without sleeping....
