    Dark-Horse: 8,8 vs 9,10,A

Assume: 6 deck, S17, DAS, Late Surrender, Double any two cards.

With basic strategy, do you split or surrender the 8,8 against a dealer 9, 10 or A?

    Thanks for your help!

Adam N. Subtractum: The only time...

...basic strategy dicates surrendering 8,8 is v A in a H17 game, w/ two or more decks. So, in your case, don't.

    Moose: ... one more thing.

88 v ten is a surrender when you have ES10.
