RayMetz100: Split Aces gets one card only?
I've now checked the rules at three local casinos near Everett, WA. Tulaliup, Club Broadway, and Big Als. They all seem to share a rule that Split aces gets one card (per ace) only. Is this an uncommon rule? Of course you can't resplit aces, and you can't double down after splitting them because as soon as you split, they just place 1 card on each and move on.
Does this rule hurt the PE much? Their other rules are 6 decks, hit on soft 17, double on any first 2 cards only, double after split(after 2 cards only), split any pairs up to 4 hands (except aces). no surrenders. The calc 4.1 from BJmath.com says the PE is -.62 for those rules, but I don't think that's taking into consideration their 1 card after split aces rule.

Ok, so the calculators I was using were likely already assuming that rule, without explicitly stateing it.
Thanks,

RayMetz100: Actual Everett, WA rules... (no DAS at Tulalip)
My post above mistakenly looks like all three casinos have the same exact rules. They do not. Here are the differences I've noticed:
Shared rules:
hit on soft 17
double on any total
double on soft hands
respliting to 4 hands allowed
no resplitting aces
no surrender
Big Als:
Double on any number of cards
Double after split
6 deck PE is about -.39
Club Broadway:
Double on first 2 only
Double after split (on first 2)
6 deck PE is about -.62
Tulalip:
Double on first 2 only
NO Double after Split.
6 deck PE is about -.76
I play at Club Broadway because they have a $3 table. The other two are $5 minimums.

RayMetz100: 2 more Everett casino rules...
Freddie's Club has same rules as Club Broadway, and a $3 table.
The Club Fiji Casino also had the same exact rules and a $3 table.
Club Broadway had a $3 table, but the Tulalip and Big Al's only had $5 tables.
Freddie's was so busy with their $1 beer special, that I couldn't get a seat. But I won $24 at Club Fiji. They only had 1 table going with the 3 dealers swapping off as pit bosses. I think there was only 4 employees in the whole place. Good thing I didn't order a burger, or they would have had to stop the play. hehe. Plus, they were hand shuffleing their 6 deck shoe.
I liked that CLub Fiji, it was very quaint.

Don Schlesinger: A favor, please
Ray,
What you're calling PE, the rest of the world calls EV. "PE" refers to "playing efficiency," which has nothing to do with "expected value," or the expectation that you have for playing the game.
I suggest you make the switch when you write, to not confuse people.

Thanks. I was refering to Player's Expection. I think I read that somewhere, but I forget where.
Lose and EV. I can remember those two.
