    TheDave: Question for Don

I don't get out to the casino much because of where I live but I have learned the AOII index's from -10 to 10 and I was wondering if I would get any heat for doubling on A8 and A9.

No one answer. Depends on where you play and what your cover is like. A,8 is actually SD BS vs. 6, so it isn't the worst eyebrow-raiser in the joint. A,9, on the other hand, is usually bad news -- perhaps not as severe as splitting tens, but definitely an attention grabber.

Generally if your using R/A indices(and you should be)then A9v6 is not really feasible as the idex is +9/10 which I have never experienced in a shoe playing AO II.If I double on A8v6 It's never raised any flags as a few ploppies make this one anyway!
