PaddyBoy: BJ school
In the Gamemasters BJ school the spread he uses is 1-12.From 5 to 60.But the 60$ bet is at TC +6.Is this really a 1-12 spread as TC +6 or over occurs only 2.03% of the time?
Shouldnt the max bet be a TC+4 as this will occur more often and you can take advantage of it.
The gamemaster bases his spread according to kelly with a 3000$ br.
I also have a 3000$ br should I follow the gamemaster or does anyone have some other kind of spread.

State the precise rules of the game, the pen, and everything you can about it. We'll give you an optimal 1-12 betting ramp.

The games I play are 6D,S17,DAS,D9,LS,resplit to 4 hands. The other is 4D,S17,DAS,D9,resplit to 4.Then pen is about 65 to 75%.
Wonging in is hard as casino are small.
Wonging out is easier.
Doesnt seem to be too much heat, there are 3$ and 5$ min tables.
You can play as many boxes as you want for any amount.

According to CVCX, for the latter game (couldn't do D9), with hi-lo, I18, Fab 4, and a 1-12 spread, optimal ramp is: 1 unit until +1; 3 units from +1 to +2; 6 units from +2 to +3; 9 units from +3 to +4; and 12 units from +4 and higher.
For the 6-deck game (you didn't mention pen, so I made it 75%): similar to above, but 7 units at +2; 11 at +3; and 12 at +4 and higher.
Don't jump your bets and go a little easier because of D9.

So this means on 34 min tables top bet is say 35,at 5$ min it is 60.Would this then be a spread of 1 to 20 if I hop from table to table.
What do you mean by go a little easier because of D9

I take it your fingers got tied up, and "34" was supposed to be $3. Anyway, the answer is yes.

No. You can't mix and match like that. It would be a 1-12 spread on each of the tables, and the blended result would be some hybrid that can't be worked out until you tell us just what you're going to do, percentagewise, table by table.

CVCX doesn't have canned sims for no soft doubling (D9). That game is less advantageous than the one I quoted for you, so your bets can't be quite as aggressive.

Maybe if I just do 2 units from +1 to +2,isnt this advantage just 0% to .50%.
Anyway my BR is replenishable so should I worry about this?

No, it's almost 0.50% HIGHER than that!

If your BR is replenishable, you shouldn't worry about anything! :-)
