    PaddyBoy: A8 v 6

    In wongs ProBj for 1D,S17 The Ev for standing on A8 v 6 is +.482 the EV for doubling is +.482.And Caruculos EV charts say EV stand is 0.482354 and the EV for doubling is 0.482626.Is this the closest call in bj?.How much do you lose by standing?

    No. See Griffin, p. 20, bottom. No doubling 6,2 vs. 5 is .130630. Doubling yields .130583.

    > How much do you lose by standing?
    The difference between the two expectations, multiplied by your bet size, multiplied by the frequency of the play, which is once every 1,100 hands or so. See BJA, p. 128, for the multi-deck versions.
